U.S. - Russian Investment Symposium

8th Annual U.S. - Russian Investment Symposium:
"New Investment Opportunities and Managing Growth"

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council supports the 8th Annual U.S. - Russian Investment Symposium:  "New Investment Opportunities and Managing Growth" which will be presented by the International Economic Alliance in cooperation with the Unites States Department of Commerce on October 7 & 8, 2004 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, Washington, D.C.  There will also be Pre-Symposium Workshops with Harvard University Professors on October 6, 2004.

Over the past seven years at Harvard University, attendees have included U.S. and Russian leaders in the worlds of business, investment, government, and academia.  Attendees are catalysts for advancing existing and new business opportunities.  Join in this U.S.-Russian dialogue for open, stimulating, and solution-oriented panels, roundtable discussions, and private meetings.  The 8th Annual U.S.-RIS will cover, among other things: Banking, Insurance, Real Estate, Retail, Russia's Regions, and will highlight Technology and Energy.  Please check the website www.usris.org to ensure that you have the latest information on panels, speakers, and sponsors.


2004 Symposium Highlights:

  • US-RIS held in Washington, D.C. this election year to capture the attention of a number of top policy makers and business leaders.  US-RIS will be held at the stately Omni Shoreham Hotel right after the annual World Bank meetings earlier in the week.

  • Harvard Business School Professors teach Pre-Symposium Day workshops on October 6th.

  • Government collaboration with the U.S. Department of Commerce spearheaded by Commerce Secretary Donald Evans and with the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade headed by Minister German Gref to create a balanced program with senior Russian government officials and business leaders.

  • Special Dual Executive Interview with Russian Minister German Gref and U.S. Secretary Donald Evans.
