in conjunction with the City Center Proprietors Association,
extends invitation to Forging Alliances IV

Philadelphia, PA - The Mid-Atlantic – Russia Business Council (MARBC), in conjunction with the City Center Proprietors Association and other multicultural business organizations, would like to extend an invitation to Forging Alliances IV, the Forth Citywide Multicultural Small Business Forum on June 14, 2006 from 5:30-8 pm at The Down Town Club located at 600 Chestnut Street, 11th Floor in Philadelphia. The event is an important occasion that will bring together the multicultural business associations in the Philadelphia area to discuss issues arising when doing business in a multicultural environment.

The event will begin with a reception and welcoming remarks by a reporter for Channel 6 Action New and the Chairperson of the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations. There will then be a panel discussion entitled “Mastering the Global Economy” addressing cultural sensitivity, sales, multilingual hiring and advertising in a multicultural context. Panel members will include a director of human resources, a vice-president of marketing, an immigration attorney and an international consultant. Following the panel discussion will be a Q&A session and an opportunity for local businesspeople to network.

MARBC would like to invite businesspeople interested in multicultural business issues to attend this event. Admission is free for MARBC members; others may attend for a fee of $30.
