The Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council (MARBC) and the Wharton Russia Student Society are pleased to invite you to join us on February 17th, 2009 to our second joint forum entitled “Russian Culture and Society Abroad”.
The event, which will begin at 6pm in Room 1206, Steinhardt - Dietrich Hall at the University of Pennsylvania, will feature poetry readings, songs and literary discussions featuring Igor Michalevich-Kaplan, editor-in-chief of “The Coast” magazine, one of the most highly recognizable international art and literature publications, as well as several other contributors to “The Coast”.
Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council (MARBC) and Wharton Russia Student Society began a series of joint events on November 17, 2008 with a forum entitled “The Future of U.S.-Russia Business Ties: Opportunities or Constraints?” The forum featured speakers that provided perspectives on economic, political, and cultural aspects of the U.S-Russia business relationship. The event was a part of the International Education Week, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, which is held to discuss benefits of international education and student exchange worldwide. The Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council and Wharton Russia Student Society are pleased to invite you to attend the second joint event which will provide a forum to explore and connect with the Russian culture as it is seen in other parts of the world.
