NEW YORK, NEW YORK - On Wednesday, August 2, 2000 at 9:00 a.m., the Eurasia Group with cooperation of the Pennsylvania-Russia Business Council will host the Honorary Boris Gryzlov, Chairman of the Unity Party in the Russian Duma. Mr. Gryzlov will address "Russia's Unity Party: Ideology, Policy, and Action" at a breakfast roundtable. This roundtable will take place in the main conference room of the law firm of Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, located on the 24th floor of 1133 Avenue of the Americas in New York City.

Mr. Gryzlov will discuss recent events in Russia including the Putin administration's reform program, the current crackdown on oligarchs, and current legislation likely to impact western investors. Dmitri Kozak, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration and Mikhail Margelov, Head of the Russian Information Center will also take part in the roundtable.
