ANNOUNCING UPCOMING EVENT IN PHILADELPHIA
"MEET THE EUROPEAN PRESS"

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - The French-American Chamber of Commerce, the German-American Chamber of Commerce, the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce and the Pennsylvania-Russia Business Council present the eighth edition of "Meet the European Press" which will take place on Wednesday, September 15, 1999 in the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel, 2nd & Walnut Street at One Dock Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  The programs will be held from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, followed the reception until 8:30pm.

This event will help to gain new perspective on the most pressing economic, political and social events in Europe from a distinguished panel.  This panel is composed of five representatives from several different countries.  The moderator is Trudy Rubin, Worldview Columnist, THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER.  Representative from France is Sylvie Kauffmann, US Correspondent in New York, LE MONDE; German representative Gerd Bruggemann, Economic Correspondent in Washington, D.C., DIE WELT;  Italian representative Arturro Zampaglione, US Bureau Chief in New York, LA REPUBLICA;  representative from Czech Republic is Vlastimil Mily, US Correspondent in New York, THE CZECH NEWS AGENCY;  and from Russia Andrei K. Sitov, Bureau Chief in Washington, D.C., ITAR-TASS NEWS AGENCY.

Admission fee is $50 for members and $60 for general public. Registration at the door will cost five additional dollars.
