PENNSYLVANIA-RUSSIA BUSINESS COUNCIL WILL HOST DELEGATION FROM MOLDOVA LEAD BY THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - On Thursday March 16th, the Pennsylvania-Russia Business Council and Foreign Policy Research Institute will host a luncheon seminar for a government delegation from the Republic of Moldova lead by the Honorable Nicolae Tabacaru, Moldovan Minister of Foreign Affairs. This event will take place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Pepper Conference Room, at the law firm of Pepper Hamilton LLP (guests should take the elevator to the 30th floor and walk up one flight of stairs). The address is 3000 Two Logan Square, 18th and Arch Streets in Philadelphia.

This program will follow a series of meetings held in Washington D.C. between the Moldovan delegation and leadership in the U.S. Congress, U.S. Department of State, U.S. National Security Council, U.S. Department of Commerce, and USAID Administration. Additionally, the Moldovan delegation will meet with IMF and World Bank representatives, the chairman of Eximbank, and the editorial boards of the Washington Post and the Heritage Foundation.

The focus of this event will be current developments in Moldova as well as business and investment opportunities including the following industries:

  • Telecommunications
  • Energy Sector
  • Food Processing

Dr. Harvey Sicherman, President of the Foreign Policy Research Institute, and former aide to three United States Secretaries of State, will moderate the seminar.
