The Mid-Atlantic - Russia Business Council delegation to visit Russia from April 4 to April 22, 2003. The trip includes Moscow, Ekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, and Nizhny Novgorod. QVC's "The Fine Art of Fabergé: A Private Collection of Inspirations" features the never-before-seen collection of Joan and Melissa Rivers with contributions from the collection of André Ruzhnikov. While the Fabergé name conjures images of ornate Imperial Easter eggs, the public knows little about the incredible versatility of the man and his firm. Over 150,000 items -- all of them unique -- were produced. Sadly, many of Fabergé's treasures where destroyed during the Russian Revolution. What remains today is a testament to his legacy. In this exhibit, which is open now through August 1, you can view over 70 Fabergé pieces, including carved animals, picture frames, and other objects of art. PRBC TO HOST A RUSSIAN DELEGATION
Pennsylvania-Russia Business Council is hosting a delegation of executives from Russian agricultural businesses on January 6-14, 1998. The delegation is participating in Pennsylvania State Farm Show in Harrisburg, PA - the largest indoor exhibition in the United States, with approximately 16 acres (6.5 hectares) of commercial exhibits, superior livestock, and thousands of product displays. A special reception will be hosted by PRBC in Lancaster, PA on January 12, 1998, with participation of Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation of Lancaster County.
